WWJD?

What would j00 do?

I realized that in two years I am moving away to grad school. I have 3 guitars and 2 basses total and I can't take them all. So I have to decide on 1 good guitar and 1 good bass to take with me.

My 5-string fretless definately won't stay. I can't imagine using a fretless more than a fretted..

I just bought an SX that I really like, but obviously needs some work if I want to make it "super fly". 4-string Jazz. So I could mod the hell out of it with new pickups, new tuners, new bridge, get the frets done better, and put in a P pickup above the neck J and rewire the whole thing.

Or I could save up and buy something that's good right out of the box. Thinking of buying a 5 or 6 string Dingwall.

2 years is a long time, I know, but I'm itching to mod my SX and need to know if pumping in the cash would even be worth it.
