I've been using a first-generation version for years. I've only encountered radio interference with it once, which may have been an old bar blender or something, or may have been nothing at all. (I'm nervous enough about it that during the set I'll take it out of the chain at the first sign of trouble, but I don't know that's always warranted.) There's another thread here on low-cost wireless covering competing products that seem to offer the same specs or better at even lower cost; it's worth looking into. For me it was cheap enough to justify the bet without any reviews, and it's generally worked out pretty well. So everyone's clear: these won't play well with active pickup systems.

I use the Xvive since few years. The only problem is the battery that cannot be change easily when it doesn't charge anymore corectly.
There are some tutos on the web to do it, but it's not so easy and you need to be meticulous. I did it, I open it completly.

It's set, there is not few screws to opent it. The guy who makes the tuto break one Xvive before he succeed to open one. around 100 $ to the trash.
I'm not satisfied with the answer of Xvive concerning the changing of the battery.
I asked them what type of battery they use and to give me a link or sell one to me.
The answer was that they don't do it (meaning they don't know what type of battery they use and unable to give me the specs), they just offer a 40 $ discout to buy a new one.
The battery I found on ebay is around 7 $ for one.
So their answer is: When the battery is out, buy a new one.
For them, the Xvive lasts the time of its battery, after it's trash.
Fortunately there are tutorials on the web to do it yourself.
Despite of this problem, I'm still happy with mine and will order 2 new battery on ebay when the coronavirus will be finished to do the operation.
I found that one witch seems to have the good dimentions (Length: 30 mm, Width: 30mm, Thickness: 8 mm) and 750 ma.

I use these, which are similar in specs:

I have 2 tx/rc sets so if the battery in one becomes exhausted I can charge it and switch to the other set. I've used them for all my plugged-in DB gigs since I purchased them, without interference. They work perfectly with both my piezo/pre-amp system and my clean-output mounted-mic system.

Very similar products are available from a number of different companies.

In general, wireless is so much better than using a cable. I carry a cable as a backup but I really hope I never have to use it again.
