This song is about a radio station (XROK 80) that existed in the 70's located in Juarez, Mexico, played American pop and rock music and had a lot of power to transmit for long distances especially in Texas.

It still exists! It broadcasted with so much power that people in Argentina claimed they could tune in to it late at night.
In the late 80s I rehearsed with a band near that radio station (huge antenna!) and all our amps had interference to their music. Couldn't get rid of it.
Transmitting frequency is 800 AM,btw.

After witnessing a thread that is actually critiquing a Fleetwood Mac recording I think I see where the OP is coming from. The stupid crap that is getting posted on here and the attention it is being given is going to eventually kill this Forum, unfortunately.

Yeah. They’re fantastic. Saw them a couple times, Madam Wong’s and the Whiskey. Billy Zoom is incredible.
