I have one of XDS 95s, I have had 0 problems with it. I can go 100 feet away with no problems. I don't baby mine at all, it gets tossed in the gear bag after practice and gigs with all my cables and stuff. I usually keep the receiver on top of my amp, and it's fallen off a couple times with no problems. I've found the sound to be identical (if not a bit better) than my Planet Waves cables or my friend's Monster cables and it's a lot better than my Livewire cable. It's really easy to setup and use.
Anyway that's the good, time for the bad. The two complainst I have about it:
1) is the clip on the transmitter... it's worthless and popped off the first time I used it. I ended up duct taping it to my strap, until I got a little carrier deal for it.
2) The receiver EATS batteries like crazy. Now on the upside this works well with almost any 9V DC Pedal adapter you might have. I actually am using one from an old Netgear router I had sitting around the house (turns out it was the right mA and Voltage). It also works with a 1 spot or anything like that. Though if you get any model higher than the base XDS95 model the receiver has a power brick included.
