x32 - use X32 computer across network in isolated room?

Our church has an X32. Or rather two of them. One for the house and one for the live stream. The stream board is in the balcony of the sanctuary and it is difficult to get a good mix amidst the wash of the house sound. We do not have a good place to relocate the board.

I have used the X32 Mix app on my iPod in a back room, and it works ok, but is just no way to monitor the sound through the app. I have to run XLR cables from the x32 to where I am mixing.

I see that there is a computer program… X32 Edit. I was thinking that we could mix from a computer in a back office, but does the X32 have audio over the Ethernet or would we have to run a separate line for monitoring the audio? We have an exiting network and can set up a VLAN just for the x32, but running audio cables to the back office would be a monumental task.

What options do we have here?

Thanks

Would something like this work for you?

The range is a deal killer. 90 feet is clear air. There would be at least 4 concrete walls to go through, plus on a different floor. That is why it is so difficult to run audio cables. I was hoping that the X32 Edit program would pass an audio signal through.

I have looked at some Audio over IP solutions, but those get really pricy quick. At least the ones I can find. The church has a PTZ camera in the sancturay. I'll have to inquire if it is NDI and has audio inputs. This would make it easy and cheap to send audio to the computer in the back office. (I think)

Nope, there is no [direct or easy] means of monitoring audio from the X32 on any of the apps (tablet or PC based) without running separate lines to monitor in your mix location.
It really doesn't matter HOW you control the mix, you will still need to get audio to your mix location, and decide where to tap from on the X32.
Monitor outs??

You could use Dante for this if I’m understanding the ask. Put an X-Dante card in the X32, run a single Ethernet cable to your computer, and run Dante virtual sound card on the computer.

set the card to route the channels/taps you want and away you go, mixing and monitoring on your computer
