Double Bass Xeros bass wheel brake

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
I got one of these and just tired it out last night. It is great to have, it stops a bit more often than you might like but, stopping at doors and elevators is much nicer. I can only imagine how much nicer it is on the train. I just got the kit, $24. It went right on the wheel I already had.

Probably better working too much than too little. I suspect you'll get better at finessing it.

Same issue prompted me to get a Bass Buggy: bass rolling away from me every time I went to open a door. Free wheels are light and maneuverable, but can just run away too easily.

Glad it works for you. Is the angle where the brake kicks in adjustable?

Not adjustable, but, it is probably best.
