XLR out on Acoustic B200H questions (recording content)

I want to record and am wondering about how to go direct and mic the cab, but I don't own a DI (and I don't have money for one...). I was looking at the schematics for the B200H, and from my limited knowledge of electronics it looks like the signal runs to the XLR out, then to the Effects Loop (then it goes back to the XLR). My question is if I was to record direct would I get a signal without effects, and a signal with effects from the cab mic? I wonder because I want to record some distorted bass without giving up any low end. Am I reading the schematic right?

Ive got that head, and when I play out the soundguy takes a DI signal from head and I still get stage volume. I dont believe the head has an effects loop unless they added that on to the new heads. You always give it a test recording.

They must have changed it, because mine has one on the back (well, a send and return) just below the XLR out. I know it wouldn't cut off sound to the cab, what I'm wondering is if I would get a dry signal (no effects) from the XLR out, plus an effects signal from the cab that will be mic'ed.

In theory, it shouldnt because the XLR is just like an output to the cab. Just instead the signal going to the speakers it goes to board. I really dont see why. But, from a recording stand point. A clean DI signal and a wet mic signal could make for some fun sounds.
