XLR out to Tascam DP-008

I'd just try to make sure that the cable is firmly in the amp and the Tascam unit and also that you've got it plugged into the proper input channel on the Tascam (Input A versus Input B). Also check to be sure that the proper channel record light is on.

For example, I usually upload a song to tracks 1/2 and then plug my xlr input input A and record my bass on track 3. I believe input A is 1,3,5, etc...I'm sure you know that, but just make sure you're not missing anything.
