I have one of these on my pedal board and it will stay until it breaks, get it and you won't regret it.

How does the RC compare to the 3Leaf LBB?

    I don’t know. I’ve never used a 3leaf lbb.

I have owned both the Xotic RC Bass Booster and the 3 Leaf Little Black Box. Both were great, though different to my ears EQ-wise.

To me, the 3 leaf Little Black Box sounded best when my P/J Bass was full on Precision pickup, while the Xotic RC Bass Booster sounded best when my P/J Bass was full on Jazz pickup. So I would describe the Timbre difference to be very similar to 3 leaf LBB like Precision Pickup and the RC Bass Boost like the Jazz Pickup.

I have the Xotic RCBB pedal and really like it a lot. It has been a mainstay on my pedal board for years. I only consider the LBB because the top mounted jacks will work well with my other pedal board for IEM. I am wondering if the LBB treble knob and freq switch produce usable tones? Especially, if the EQ of the pedal is described as a precision pickup.. FWIW and IMO, the RCBB is awesome as a boost or preamp and also plays well with other pedals. Someone should snag this.

For sure this is a great pedal at a very fair price.

Man this is tempting!! How does the RCBB compare to the Sansamp BDDI, EQ-wise? I know the gain structures are totally different, where the BDDI can get into OD territory, but curious how their clean tones differ.
