Xotic X-Blender question

Hey all! So I was looking to get a blender and an eq to make one of my fuzz pedals more usable in a band setting. My question about the Xotic is... would I be able to use the bass and treble knobs when the blender s activated but the knob is on 100% wet? Some songs I'd want a clean blended sound, and some I'd like 100% fuzz but still add some bass. This pedal seems almost too good to be true if it acts as both a blender and an eq.

The EQ and volume controls are active when the blend loop is engaged no matter where the blend knob is set, you should be good to go

If I recall correctly, the EQ only effects the return signal and the volume/boost effects both clean and wet.

The treble & bass controls the treble/bass of the effect signal. It is activated when the blend control is switched on.

I usually leave mine at 12:00, but have played around with them in both wet & dry modes. Easy enough to add/remove bass or treble when you roll the blend knob to 100%.

Ps, you will absolutely love the X-Blender. Remove your fuzz/distortion from the direct signal chain. Blend in (obviously) just the amount you need. Much better control. Guitards have been doing this for years.

Hey there. I had a question about the Xotic Effects X-Blender and i was hoping you could answer it!

I'm planning to use it for running a few dirt & fuzz pedals that don't have clean blends built in. That said the last pedal in that chain is going to be a Tronographic Rusty Box preamp/dirt that I'd like to still take the DI out from. My question is, is there any loss of output while blending the dry and wet in the X-Blender's send output? As long as the send maintains a consistent volume and then it blends it after going back into the return I should be totally fine with the Di staying the same volume, right?

This may seem like a strange set up but my plan is to then send a bit of the that dirty signal from the x-blender back to my clean Heritage SVT rig so I can have the dirty solid state grind on tap and then a clean tube break up when I need it and then MIC the 8x10 from there so FOH has both DI and MIC..
