Xotic X-blender vs. SFX X&M

Benefit of the Xotic is the ability to flip the phase of the loop signal in order to reduce the loss of low end that can sometimes result from phase cancellation.
The SFX also has a built in blender with phase correction.
This products do the same???
Any other blend pedals you can recomend please witouth losing quality when adding to my chain

The X&M is a crossover, not a blender.

Badger and Wounded Paw both make highly-regarded blenders as well.

I think you were refering to the sfx S&M: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It has the phase switch and two loops, with volume control of each one. Very nice. The X-blender only has one loop, though it has several other features (EQ, Boost...) that you might find useful or not.

Well, it's a crossover and a mixer in one. It doesn't have a phase switch though!

I've had both and would recommend the Xotic (or other regular blender) if you want to blend dirt pedals, and the X&M for filters/modulation/reverb/delay.

The X&M can turn any guitar wah into a bass wah, can remove low end throbbing from modulation and mud from delay/reverb.

Use it with dirt though and you will find that pedals react differently and distort less when the lows are removed from the input. Also, blending clean low end with compressed/distorted mids/highs results in an uneven sound since the lows overpower the highs when you dig in.

The Xotic is probably the best blender I have used.

One Control makes a more compact blender with phase, but without eq. They have a version that lets you use an expression pedal as well, which is pretty cool.

I get it all done with Rolls sx21 and WP blender. I get footswitching phase control from the spare serial blend loop. No single pedal you can buy does this.

I don't have a problem with compressing highs getting over bassed. If I did the first thing I'd do is adjust my attack on the strings

+1 On the OneControl if you want compact.

Anything beyond compact, the Badger and the WoundedPaw v1-v2 are great choices. Beyond that, the Wounded Paw v3 and v4 will give you more loops and some additional routing options in the v4. The Wounded Paws are more like mixers than traditional blenders though so that might be more or less to your liking.
