Hey I just got a crown xti 2000 in for my live rig, it consits of my custom simmons 6 string, going into an ampeg svp-pro preamp, I'm using the direct out to go to a bbe 882i sonic maximizer and having the signal go to the xti. I've got it set up with an 8 ohm cab so it should be running at 400 watts. the problem is it doesn't sound(or feel) like 400 watts
. The setup I had before(gk 700rb-II) was so much louder, and it was at 380 watts. So I'm thinking, that it may be that my input signal is not hot enough. I'm also using a 4 conductor speakon cable, and it's not being bridged, could this be the problem? any help would be greatly appreciated, also is there any way to adjust the input gain through the crowns dsp, I havn't hooked it up yet. Thanks ~ James
