Yamaha BB G5 Pickups?

Looking for some help, and I know if I'm going to get the answer anywhere...it's here.

I've got an old BB G5 coming in that I saw used on guitar center's website. No idea if I'm going to keep it or return it (don't know how I feel about 19 mm spacing with my baby hands), but anyway...

Does anyone know what type of pickups the original passive "jazz style" basses had? I can't find a definitive answer, other than they might be stacked humbuckers or split coils.

Any insight appreciated!

There are two similarly named Yamaha models that get mixed up often: BB-G5 and BB-G5A. I've owned both models.
G5 has single coil pickups of typical Jazz single coil dimensions. I had them replaced at some time with Seymour Duncan pickups, maybe SJB-1 for 5 strings, can't remember. They sounded great.
G5A has also single coils but in a wider soap-like casing. I have no idea what aftermarket pickups fit those cavities.
