Yamaha RBX basses (made in Taiwan).

Bought this RBX new in 1993 I think. After I had been playing a cheap second hand Japanese Jazz bass copy for about nine years. Soon after though I lost interest in playing bass (why?!) and the RBX served mainly as a decoration piece until 2007 when I finally picked it up seriously joining a beginners cover band. Picture is from a gig that year. The RBX sounded fine. On recordings from this gig (soundboard in a music venue) I can hear a sound close to a P-bass. Although a little on the dull side.
In 2008 I bought a Fender Jazz and a Precision that I've been using for gigging and recording ever since. The RBX regained a decorative function eventually selling it to a caring new owner.
