Double Bass Yamaha SLB300 preamp knobs

I recently got the Yamaha SLB300 bass. I’m enjoying it quite a bit. Great playability. Learning all the different sounds and preamp settings. On my bass, the knobs seem to come off of the shafts a little too easily. Had to put them back on a few times already. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there any kind of fix for this?

Are the pots split-shaft or solid shaft? If they're solid, the knobs should have set screws you can tighten down.

Mine have never come off or even gotten loose.

if the knobs press on wrap a little plumber’s tape around the pot shaft, it should provide a little more grip.
