'96 VW Golf CL - around 270,000km - no major repairs up until about 4 days ago when the muffler rusted itself off, as well as needing a new catalytic converter.

New (as of last night) a 2007 Nissan Altima 3.5L SE in "Super Black".

Awesome, I love those cars. My girlfriend has a 02 3.5SE in white. It's an amazing car. I'm trying to convince my mom to buy one. I'm currently loving my Xterra. Nissan is an excellent company.
Yeah - this is actually my third Altima. I think they are great cars and especially like the toys I got with this one - smart keys, bluetooth, nav, xmradio with bose 9 speaker sound (including 2 subs!).

Is it just me, but most of the cars in America seem to have over 100,000miles on the clock, whereas in the UK over 50,000 is fround upon when selling a car, and over it drops the price consierably. Mind you, we are a small country I guess.
659,000 total miles on three bass-friendly cars:
1986 Honda Civic wagon: 206,000
1993 Toyota Camry wagon: 310,000
(wife's car, bought w/over 200,000 'cause she REALLY wanted it.)
1999 Audi A4 Avant: 143,000
Still have all three. What we don't have is car payments! ;-)

1993 BMW 525i - 279,000+ miles.
I don't remember the exact number, but it's pretty scary. At least I've never had to worry about car payments - I bought it with barely 200k miles already on it!
And the engine hasn't let me down yet!
But the radiator, cooling pump, and one brake pad did a few years ago.

I've been thinkin' about an old Caddy 500 for when my s-10's 4-banger dies. I think the shock value would be priceless. I need to make friends with the local tire shop though.
1987 Porsche 944 it has 200.000 miles, i've owned the 944 for 13 years, it's been the best car I've ever owned, and it's my third Porsche.
1988, Astro CL van, Chevrolet, miles would be around 550K or so. Its been round the block a few times.Can't wait till I get my g2 So I can drive that badboy!
