Remember when 100,000 was considered like the death sentence? Now my mechanic tells me if you just keep up with the oil changs,fluids, and basic maint, cars can easily make it past 200,000, good news for me! I don't want any car payments in the near future.

This guy weighs around 5000lbs and obviously gets horrible gas mileage with it's big block 400ci.
Definitely not easy to park, but he's fun as hell to drive

This is why we jumped into a Volvo V70. We hope to get some mileage like this too.
2002 Ford Focus zx3 (hatchback) - 77k
Had 4 miles on it when I bought it (well, actually 14 after the 10 mile test drive).
Installed basic performance bolt-ons (exhaust, header, intake, etc.). It literally sounds like a Mustang running on 4 cylinders, but in a good way. What I mean is it sounds like a Mustang only about half as ballsy.
Great for transporting gear, interestingly enough. I was able to stuff a 212 cab, 412 cab, 2 heads, 1 bass, 1 guitar, extra junk, and a passenger with no problems.

Yes, I drive a lot...which happens when you have an outside sales job, in-laws who live four hours up north, your wife had a manual transmission car you didn't know how to drive, and now you're self employed and commute over a half hour each way, six times a week. It's worth it, though.
