Our guitar technicians have determined that you are indeed correct regarding the issue where the source of the buzzing is not from the nut, fret or loose parts in the bridge. They have found the issue to be the D string which has a loose winding around the core that rattles when it vibrates. It has thus been replaced with a similar gauge .65 based on the specifications referred from the website.

Took them long enough, but i'll wait till I actually hold my bass before deciding if it's fixed.
