I was searching E-bay for affordable cool projects and came across what used to be a Yamaha BB1000

Well words can't describe the carnage so I'll just let the pictures do the talking...

If you want to bid on this abomination or if the pictures won't load, go here...

well the body could be sanded and saved... the pickups and other electronics could also be salvaged probley... Not to mention the bridge from what I could see.. 10 dollar bid and 15 shipping dont know may be worth it to someone

I once had impure thoughts. Oh, and I pluck my ear hair.
I dunno, guys - i think the builder may be on to something with that "Hingestock". Somebody needs to patent this brilliance before Wish gets a wiff...

I just did the same. Stuff like that makes me feel sick. That close up of the headstock is what sent me over the edge.

The headstock folds to make it more compact for travel.

From the house to the dumpster.

This is what happens when modern artists mate with musicians.

  12. It's the the new Sadowsky line. In addition to the the NYC and Metro series, there is the new RUN-OVER-BY-A-METRO, completely devoid of any "j bass on steroids" aura.
  13. Maybe it was a bad acid trip,or some forout imagiantion

    haha, says that in description
  14. honestly it seems like a great deal for $10, i mean new neck some body work and new electronics and you have a pretty nice looking bass. I would pic it up if I didnt already have my own project on the go.
  15. It's description reads "J-Bass on Crack" now. For a slight upcharge they'll weld the strings onto the bridge for you so you will never have to buy them anymore and instead have more money to give to your dealer.

I, for one, am getting big time GAS :ninja: (for crack).

The line "I will make a great conversation peace" had me in stitches.
  17. With a new input jack that actually may become a superlative sleeper of a bass.

If you have the $ install a Sadowsky or J Retro preamp and it'll be tonal nirvana and I'm sure it'll play like like butta'.
  18. could be tricky as its a neckthrough, but i dare say where theres a will

:bawl: I think we should all make sure to let our basses know that we love them...
