Several of you have said the mk1's arent bad. Now that the Ibanez pre is gone I could totally live with them. The biggest difference is in the attack. It's almost kick drum like. It's a HUGE difference. It's almost too punchy, even set to full passive. The bass went from a blurry shrill mess to fat but percussive. I'll still swap them out because I have nord duals coming but if anyone out there is doubting the mk1 pickups, change your pre before even consider a pickup swap.
