Just found this thread after posting the following in the LOG forum... some clips from on-stage last night at a gig.

-------------------------------------------------------------

So last week on a different gig I took my camera to have someone offstage take photos of the band, but that unfortunately never happened. I did get the inkling however to place the camera in video mode on my music stand and roll tape. Thus, 'Basscam' was born. Anyway, we had a great gig last night with one of my groups (warning, banjo content) and I happened to be playing my 44-02 Deluxe. Thought I'd share the results! For those tech nerds, my amp is an Eden Nemesis NA320 with a Tech 21 VT Bass up front. I didn't plan it, but the two tunes I recorded were ones where I have short solos/features. Gotta decide fast whether or not to push that button when things get rolling! haha!

Brushfire @ Jack Of The Wood - 'Fumaquious Monarch' 3/5/10

Brushfire @ Jack Of The Wood - 'Autumn Amble' 3/5/10

Great, great tone. Wow.

I'm in love with my Bob Glaub and not so in love with my Stingray. I wish a local store would have a 44-02.

BTW : here's another "basscam" vid, from another Lakland user. Warning : great tone ahead.

Yeah, the 44-02 (and 4-94) tone is a great blend of cut and supportive blend. This clip was with both pickups on full, no coil splitting. I had Stingrays in the past and loved them, but missed the fullness a second pickup adds. The 44-02 is the best of both worlds for me.

Heres a video from a charity event for the Les Paul Museum in Wauhesha Wisconsin.
I filled in with a former band of mine.
I am playing my brand new (at the time) Lakland 55-Dual J Chi-Sonic bass.
There was an amp there for all the bands to use.
I believe it was a Fendedr head of some sort with an Ampeg 410.
We did an hour set. This is one of the songs we did. Fadeaway by the local group, The Bodeans.
Enjoy
