I'm been searching youtube learning from everyone and I'm trying to find more bassists that would fit into this category that would have some clips on Youtube...

I guess its the young virtuoso category..

Ah ok.
Just, as far as I am concerned there are a few different "calibers " in this list.
For examples people I consider more or less "copyists" of one player would not sit in the same "box" as the player they are emulating.(IMHO)

If you just include every pretty good player up, then your "list of virtuosos" makes absolutely no sense.

Sorry, most of those players are not "virtuosos". If any. Those guys put their time in, which is why they are good.

Virtuoso- someone highly skilled in bass playing

thats my definition ..

and wow i think those players are more than "pretty" good but thats all subjective..

Actually i realized most of the guys I'm talking about are the gospel chops bass crew...

I'm just looking for more guys like that.. The dane alderson and mark peric recommendations were spot on what i was looking for

They help me show what is possible on the bass :eek:

You do realize that Henrik is 27 and has already been playing bass for a looong time right?

No doubt he's a very good bassist, but he's not doing anything new that hasn't already been done on electric bass. There are already tons of kids on youtube covering his bass solos and lines.

If you want to give the "new Jaco" tag to someone based on accomplishments, chops and musical sense, Hadrien Feraud deserves that one more. He's roughly the same age and is already a giant.

There's never going to be another Jaco imo.

I have to agree with you especially since guys John Pattitucci, Gary Willis, Jeff Andrews etc have already broken the ground the guys on that list are treading on now.
