Your $.02 Worth = Best flanger?

I just got my DOD FX75-B Flanger today and I have to tell you. I am quite impressed. Its my bass tone+flange. I like it so far.

I really wish the Frost Bite had this, I constantly go back and forth between Even and Odd harmonics on that pedal, and it would be a lot more useful than the foot-spinny Enhance knob, which I usually leave most of the way up anyhow.

One feature of the A/DA that the Frostbite lacks is CV input, if i'm not mistaken.

Never heard of the Montgomery or the Frostbite. Both amazing. The Mongomery seems to do it all and sound incredibly rich and warm. Too big for my board though. Plus I only use a subtle bit at times when I play frettless.

Correct with no CV input.

i really enjoyed the original a/da flanger. nice warm tone and options out the yang. i'm sure the clone (homebrew) would be just as nice.

i've had that, an old ehx polyflange (very cool sounds and options like double mode, but not as warm), maxon fl-9, and ehx electric mistress.

My favorites are the big aluminium Carlsbro Flanger (the invert switch!) and the Korg FLG-1 Flanger (= Yamaha FL-01).

I vote for the DOD Stereo Bass Flanger. Its amazing.

hands down the ibanez fl-9 flanger is a great and versital flanger. i really like the extreme jet swoosh this pedal can do as well as just a touch of push.
and with four knobs you can pick your sound really easy.

best thing is that they are cheap on ebay. look right now, i saw two for under 30.00

i recommend resisting the temptation

unless you like your bass playing to be replaced by a bunch of swishy high-end noise

I love the Boss BF-2. I thought it was on the subtle side until I discovered the internal trimpots--now I have it dialed so it can get very weird indeed.

The TC SCF is the damn best flanger in the world.
Strangely, this 30 yo reference is less recommended these days. I wonder why.

Yeah, the TC is great. You can get the Nova modulation pedal for 250 which includes chorus, flange, phase, etc. rich and lush.
I still like my old A/DA for just flange though..
