I'm not saying this is somehow best (as if such a concept could be applied to music) but this one immediately came to mind when I saw the thread. I remember more than once realizing I was holding my breath listening to it. It's Orient Suite Blue off of the Passion Grace & Fire album (Al Dimeola, John McLaughlin, and Paco deLucia)
My favorite bit is at about 3:10 or so (I think it's Al DiMeola), but honestly the song has to exist in totality to make that bit shine like it does for me. I have always been amazed and thankful that three masters could work together so well without letting egos get in the way
