Grand Funk Railroad-Inside Looking out
Guns n' Roses-Welcome To the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine
Iron Maiden-Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Powerslave
Joe Satriani-Surfing With the Alien
John Mayer-Bold As Love
Johnny Winter-Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo
Led Zeppelin-Stairway, Dazed and confused
Lynyrd Skynyrd-Sweet Home, Free Bird, Simple Man
Megadeth-Hanger 18
Metallica-Fade to Black, Orion
Ozzy Osbourne-Crazy Train
Rage Against The Machine-Killing in the Name
Steely Dan-Kid Charlemagne, Do It again, Rickie Don't lose that Number

These are my favorites. I went through my Ipod and picked out the solo's that got my interest.

I have a bunch of favorites, but my top ones are:
1 - Another Brick In the Wall Part II - every note is perfectly selected and placed.
2 - Hotel California - it's perfectly set up by the verse/stop that precedes it, and the doubling at the end gives me chills.
3 - U2's New Year's Day - not the hardest to play, I'm sure - but it's got a huge sound that just makes the song. And sounds even better live.
