OK, this one as you can see has weeded out several cabs to make room for some new ones... please vote for your favorite "all around cab"... and yes I'm sure I'm still leaving some out but hey... only 20 slots to work with here so give me a break ;) I was going to put "other" in the last slot but seeing as how you would wind up posting the choice I didn't have up there I put another cab in the list because you'll do that anyway.


The fEARful 15/6/1 was not suppose to be in there of course :rollno: ... it was late and I was tired when I did the list...

Man, hard split between the Eden & SWR.
But you included my "underdog" cab the Hartke 4.5XL and the Bag End 410 (co-ax I assume)......
Man, this is tough!!!

As in the other poll, IMO/IME the Eden and SWR would rank as the best for over-all-never-fail-to-deliver-no-matter-what "industry standard" cab.

But man, I like me some Bag End cabs something fierce!!!!!

Of the cabs listed, I'd give the nod to the AE410 (since I like it and the HS410 about the same from a tonal perspective - they are different flavors of good - but the light weight of the AE410 is quite nice). But if the Glock were up there, it'd get my vote by a hair.

Actually, I thought it was intentional and that it has some merit. In fact, I almost voted for the 15/6/1, until I saw your post saying that it was unintentional. FWIW, you really can replace a 4x10 with a 15/6/1, and from a tone/performance standard, I prefer my 15/6/1 over any of my 4x10's. But, since you are trying to keep things focused on the 4x10, I voted for a 4x10...

Still, those fEARful cabs are damned good. :bassist: :bassist: :bassist: :cool:

well that is good to hear i suppose... this all is really to help me figure out what would be the best single cab setup for me...

but still it erks me that i did that and i think it screws up the poll but hey... whadaya gonna do :smug:

I vote GK Neo 410. It's probably the most underrated cab of the lot. But it's a dang good cab and can hold it's own with any of them. Plus it's about 1/3 the price of some of them :) Their 210 is even better:) stack 2 of them and you will blow away 99.9% of the competition for far less money :)
