This outing isn't just flashy technical wanking, either, I think it's one of his better efforts, musically.
I can't think of a single video of his that's just flashy technical wanking. He's got more musical and technical chops that most of us that post here combined.
Meh...as I have said elsewhere, I don't compare myself to other players. Over that last 30+ years of being a bass player, I have discovered that comparing ourselves to one another can run from an apples to oranges comparison to an apples to Hoover Dam comparison. <shrug>

Dude is super impressive. I know his channel is an income generator, but I hope he tours and records conventionally also.
First thing I'd say to a bassist like that is, "Oh, so you don't want to play in a band." Seriously, great chops for showing off in the bedroom but. . .
I say this not to imply any tricks or shenanigans, nor to in any way disparage the hard work he's clearly put into playing...but fwiw I would find that clip far more impressive if it were a single-camera shoot done in one take with no edits.
