Your dream bass

An MTD 635-24 with either a Spalted Maple top on Swamp Ash body (matching headstock) or a nice Figured Walnut on Swamp Ash (also with matching headstock). Man I would kill for one of those ... In the words of Wayne "It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine"

That said, how a bass looks is merely icing on the cake to me; How it plays is key.

I'm very happy with my Zon custom 5, but I'd do two things to perfect it: wider string spacing (for slapping) and a mid-range control. Otherwise, it's just about perfect - for me, at least.

I'm starting to find that looks are more important to me than they used to be. But yes, playability is paramount.
