Your Favorite Bread?

I'll admit I'm a bread fanatic. Since I was just a wee lad I've had a taste for this baked good. I remember begging for the heels of a fresh loaf of bread the sitter had at her house....I'd have a hotdog or a burger and end up eating just the bun with mustard or whatever else was on there sans meat....I've had toast with just mustard before, or A1 sauce (any type of barbecue sauce really) yeah I'm kind of strange. These folks who are all caught up in the "carbs are bad" phase need to take a look at the food pyramid one more time. Atkins diet?

Puh leeze.

So I come to this: What's your favorite bread? I love just about everything except for the 7 grain wheat jobs they've got..... Italian, Polish, regular white, Dark Rye, Wheat, Asiago, Naan.... it doesn't matter I love it all.

I'm pretty much a fan of anything but plain white. That stuff is just NOT GOOD, IMO.

Ever since getting my bread maker I have become sort of a bread fanatic. I'm mostly into the dark whole grain breads. I personally cannot stand white bread. I suppose if you do not like the taste of bread that white would be ok, as it seems to have very little in the way of taste. I also don't much care for the texture of white bread.

I love setting the bread maker at night and waking up to the aroma of fresh whole-grain oatmeal nut bread. Mmmm-mmmmm.

Very tasty!

During Easter my family always gets a few loaves of rye with caraway seeds. I love it!

For day to day sandwiches, it's either whole wheat, marble rye, dark rye, or light rye. White is okay every now and again.

Oh man I almost forgot about the Hawaiian bread. mmmm mmm good.....I've eaten a whole loaf of that in a night before.

For your normal supermarket bread I like sourdough.

Mom used to make this beer bread which is pretty awesome. I should call her and ask for the recipe.

Count me as one of the few that prefers white bread. Give me a good dinner roll and I'm happy. My local Wegmans makes a baguette-style white bread with peppercorns baked in. It is quite good. If I don't watch myself, I can eat a whole one in less than an hour.
