The first day i picked up a bass found the tabs for Manthem by Bouncing Souls and Six Pack by Black Flag.
Mine was carousel by Blink-182. I used to listen to them pretty die-hard. I was in middle school, what can I say!?
'Another One Bites the Dust' by Queen - closely followed by The Race by Fleetwood Mac... then a bunch of Iron Maiden and Rush tunes 
The first line I learned that I remember was Play That Funky Music.

"Walk Away" by James Gang. A blues progression I came up with early on that ended up becoming the bassline for my band's version of "Sweet Little Angel" by B.B. King is my favorite!!!

I'd say that was one of the 1st ones I got to when i actually got my 1st bass . . .
i was the singer in the 1st band(basement jams, 16 yrs old) i was in and i owned a bass, but hadnt played yet. The bassplayer left and i was elected to play by default so i learned Crazy Train, Paranoid, Living after midnight and Live Wire (Motley Crue). The 1st notes i plucked was when i was 10 yrs old, Hang on Sloopy! Cant recall if i even played it right...
