I am new to this forum and I am going to be buying a bass this week. I have three I found and was hoping for some players input on them. I have played for a couple of years in Church, contemporary Christian music. Not into slap or anything funky, simple playing but I want to get a good bass. I play a squire 4 string now. Played great stuff in high school and college days (I am am 49 now). Stopped playing bass for 20 years, played guitar, now I am back on the bass and loving it more than guitar.
Here is what I am looking at
1. 2004 Fernandez Gravity 4 Deluxe bass with 2 active FGI pickups 4 string for $350 with soft case
2. Schecter Electric Bass elite diamond series 5 string no case for $300
3. ESP Model C 5 string Mahogany body with maple/blk.walnut neck-thru with case for $400 obo
All are in beautiful shape and used
