$200 cash one gig about 6 months ago - put it in my front pants pocket, it was gone by the time I rolled home. Later I told the BL to please slap the s*** out of me if he ever sees me NOT put my cut in my wallet.

I had something 'similar', but it was an old friend's wedding.
HOWEVER, my Sitch was reversed, 'assumed' the wedding was on the Saturday (because, Wedding), turns out it was the FRIDAY before the Saturday.
WHO TF gets married on a Friday night after work? Apparently, my friend did.
It wasn't a Super Fancy wedding, more of a 'party type thing, with a meal, drinks and some folks got married while there. I missed the free meal though.
BUT it all worked out, as they're divorced now, so it's kinda like it never happened.
