The OP doesn't have his or her location listed on his or her profile. I think we're talking about wood imports because the bass in question is on a Canadian site, specifically in Victoria, BC. Being from that part of the world and knowing how difficult it is to get to Victoria, BC I think there are only a few reasonable assumptions:
1) The OP is a resident of British Columbia, in which case import laws and restrictions won't apply.
2) the OP is a resident of Washington State and if so, almost definitely Western Washington State, because it would not be worth the trouble if you had to go over the Cascade Mountains before getting on a boat, through the Puget Sound to get to Victoria. In this case, customs and imports laws would apply, but those of us who live here bring basses back and forth across the border fairly frequently and this has never come up.
3) They're looking for basses on line and they could be anywhere. Considering the site this bass is listed on is a very local BC listing and not a larger on-line seller who markets as such and that this is not a particularly special bass, I find this unlikely.
So, I know what a complex and interesting conversation the endangered woods international movement topic is, but I don't think we should hijack this particular discussion with it.

Are you talking about the photo where the headstock almost reaches the ceiling? That is a 3/4 bass.
