Back in the fall of 2010 I was just coming off of a gruesome dual studio project and was jonesing for something different - so I put together a pedalboard system. (See picture BTB.)

Then came TalkBass... (See picture ATB.) Not shown is the Eventide Space which I generally keep on top of my bass head or the computer's interface. I find it more practical to access it by hand as opposed to foot.

How has TalkBass damaged - …er, I mean “improved” your pedalboard arsenal?

I just had a big muff which i used rarely.
Then came Talkbass
Now i have this:

BTB, I used a Boss Chorus in the 70s and 80s (think sting)... then used a Fulltone Bass Driver in the 90s, but no board for either.

ATB of course, the board has been going through a never ending process of transmogrification. Here's the latest (which is about to go through another change). The same can be said of my bass playing. These days it's focused on roots rock with punk rock undertow, dub and electronic.

Was using a Korg Pitchblack and a Boss ODB-3, later a Turbo Rat & a Bass Big Muff added.

Now, my board is the same Pitchblack > Demon King > Rat Tail > Belcat DLY-503 Delay > Darkglass B3K.

I'm still mostly just using dirt, but I'm sure that'll change :P

I did have an OC-3 which I sold on, I never found a use for it, but I don't remember if that was before or after Talkbass (I know it wasn't as a direct result of it, though)

And I don't even use the GT-10B that much, but I hate to part with it.
