Your practice space.

The point of this thread is simple, I’m just curious as to what your personal practice space looks like. How you set things up to minimize distractions, make things more comfortable, make things more efficient or enjoyable for yourself. Whatever ethos your into. I’m always looking for inspiration or tricks other players have figured out, but really this is just an excuse to indulge in curiosity.

This was how it looked when I bought the house last year, bit different now, but you get the drift.

I hadn't even unpacked a lot of things at this point, just seeing if the major items had survived the movers.

I like to work through my production chain even when rehearsing. My gig amp doesn't have any volume control for aux in or I'd use it as well. So the signal chain is connected to the Ampeg on the floor.

I make heavy use of my PC. I connect the PC to the aux in of my amp so I can work with the actual tracks with headphones. If still learning a song, I'll have my note chart up on my PC.

If I'm struggling to work in a harmony, I'll run PC and pic through the mixer and then into aux in.

Behind the black cloth is my recording hardware (Presonus 8 channel input and a presonus 6 channel headphone amp. Out of shot is my drum kit which I've been taking regular spins on lately. I'm terrible, but it's fun.

indoors - mosly morning

and outdoor - insulated heated space off the garage - afternoon -
