That's true. Once you start getting in that price range, other (better) options start appearing like picking up a decent used Ampeg 8x10. We can keep speculating here and expressing FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) but it won't help you. I still stand by my opinion that the MCM's are the best option for the price. Will it be as good as an Eden, Epifani, Bergantino? No. Will it be as good as an Ampeg 8x10? Maybe. Will it suck? I doubt it. Will it be useable? Sure. Right now without any speakers, you're cab isn't worth much. For about $250 you can have a useable cabinet that'll get you through for awhile. If you don't like it, you could sell it and at least get your money back. Seems like the risk is pretty low.
