Your thoughts on a new bass

Nobody has mentioned a Rickenbacker 4003. You might have to pay a little more but it might be worth it to you. at least give one a try. I always have played Fenders but now I love Ricks too.

Hi everyone, I curently play on a fender P-bass and am looking to buy a second bass. I recently tried a gibson EB bass and a warwick corvette at the store and i really liked both, kinda liked the warwicks tone a little more while i felt like the gibson felt a bit better in my hands.

Well long story short I was wondering if anyone tried/own one of these basses and your feedback on them, and also if you have any other suggestions on other basses around that price (a bit over $1000).

A new Gibson EB vs a new Warwick Corvette,.. I choose Corvette.. But, better yet, I'd save the money.

Also, take your time and play as many basses as you can, remember the search for the ”perfect" bass is often more fun than actually buying one.
