That is, at most, half the problem. If the saddles are decked and the action is too high then OP needs to see if there is another bridge out there that allows lower action. The other option would be to take metal off the underside of the saddles, or recess the entire bridge.
Ray, you may want to try switching the bridge saddles from the two basses. If the ones on the burst are shorter, that may help.

All assumptions on my part, but given the amount of memorabilia you have in that room, plus many fine looking Epiphone, Gretsch and Fender guitars, I would have thought you could afford a real Rick or, at least, be able to save for one reasonably quickly.
That said, are you getting help for your Beatles obsession? Looks like you're almost at Crazy Cat Lady level!

Honestly, I finally got a real Rickenbacker out of pure luck and a price that was unbelievable. I have a wonderful wife who agreed that I couldn't pass up a beyond this world deal on a mint 4003SW.
What I'm saying is, stop wasting money on fakes and save for the real deal. I had a fake made by Dillion. Waste of money and it set me back $400 that I could have put forward on the real deal.
Sell a few guitars and get a 4003S.

If you call the store in Cardiff I am 1000% sure that they know a luthier closer than London who can help you setup those fakeenbakers.
Way back in time, I had a "real thing". It was a big deal to get it in 70's in Europe. However, I had a huge problem with ergonomics, setting it up, getting decent sound (noting better was available than Marshall bass amp and guitar cabinet...)
Anyhow, I was so angry, I sold it in 1/2 price and never looked back. I will not go through the same thing again, after 40 years, knowing that nothing was changed in ergonomics, except price (for the new one is hidden) and you have to have trust in dealer to get decent one. I will never pay (call or e-mail for) price they are asking for the new one. I will pay max $800 for the new one and $500-$600 for good used one, what is not going to happen. In a meantime, for that money, I can get (and I did) helluva good stuff. I would consider faker just to decorate wall, even I think some of fakers look better and have better ergonomics.
