So Anyway, a friend of mine wants me to sit in for a set at a musicians party in a few weeks... Dear Prudence was on the list. I thought I had a part that would fit, but when I gave the song a serious listen, I realized that it was going to take a lot more work to do it justice.
Several things amaze me:
  • The way the bass line is constructed to support the song.
  • The way it flows from a descending line to a walking line.
  • And they might have been tripping when it was recorded.
So I'm going to give the Macca Beatles catalog a serious listen... there's a lot to learn.
