Third choice : Epiphone Viola Bass
Not for the tone, but just for the look : would be cool while gigging with my Beatles tribute band.
Very, very cheap. I'm almost sure I'll have it for Xmas...

You won't be disappointed : Grabbers and G3's are underrated, but they are killer basses.

yup, i sure do love my Grabber!

ive been wanting a G3 for years! the grabber popped up when I had the money, the need for a new base. there hadnt been any G3s up for months!!

i'll have to pay of it with my parents, tho, but thats still cool!

and it looks like your going have quite some christmas!!

Did you have to sell off the P and EB?

I sold the SR5 in June, because I needed the money to buy my new Rickenbacker.

I finally kept all I had, except the Bass Pod (but I almost did not use it anyway).

So at this time I still have the P, the 4003, the B-100R and the SABDDI.

hehe, mike d. is a big inspiration on me.

GD are one of my top bands for that style.

When I bought dooke and got to Longveiw, I thought.. holy hell!

i have a bunch of videos of live performances, and while the tone there isnt as good as the record's, its still killer. personally I also love how they look!

I'm getting a Michigan 12" and an 8" for each cabinet to replace the worn out ones that are currently in the cabinets.
