Just set up our Bandcamp page. Only two songs on there,. Any tips on building followers on BC?
Yes, treat it not as a social media platform (which it isn't) but just as a digital storefront. Figure out how to present your music in the real world.
@msgoodrich looking at your BC page now and I've a few thoughts.
The rap song sounds like a totally band from the other 2..a bit confusing that.
The band photo on my phone at least crops a bit of your heads off...and where's the 5th band member?
Also, I love a little band bio...brief history, what got you together and why, that sort of thing.

So a guy at another site wrote a beautiful kinda eulogy and linked a posthumous release from his friend.
I downloaded it from Bandcamp and felt kinda good about paying.
Me, I don't charge for like the first 6 months or whatever, then only charge to gimme some idear of what might be circulating.
The answer, of course, is not much.

I'm bad at buying anything downloadable which is quite ironic since I have released all my stuff in that "format" not counting the recent excursion into the printed objects.
I did buy Heldon's "Stand By" and "Interface" cds from Bandcamp early this week and only after that learned it's the Friday again.
