They say you'll spend the year doing whatever you do on New Year's Day. I got playing bass and messing with my motorcycle out of the way, then I guess I'll be baking lol. Homemade shortbread, my first time making it. It turned out wonderfully, and it's so delicious!!! Happy New Year, everyone!

Practicing bass, practicing (egad) singing backup while playing bass (wish me luck!) walking the cats, making dough. Actually baking the dough which took its own sweet time to rise, well, that was January 2, about 3 AM when I got up for <reasons>, and had a look at the stuff finally risen. The new oven has an incredibly useless time bake function, so it's easier not to even try using it.
