What's the deal with those? I know they are manufactured in korea to Zon's specifications, but little else. Has anyone here experience with them? Can they be compared to a real zon??

Zon Sonus RT??

Quite interested to hear about the RT myself.... not sold on the idea of a Zon without a graphite neck, but the price is right, and it looks the part...

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.
I remember that there is an RT5-K and an RT5 model. I've played both at The Perfect Bass and I preferred the RT5 model. It had better electronics than the RT5-K and just felt like a more well crafted instrument.
I almost bought one of these; they're excellent-sounding basses for rock. If I had to pick a weakness in the one I played, it's that the EQ wasn't being all that it could be to my ears and that limits the flexibility of the bass. I think that TPB has some on clearance and they're also running some holiday specials, so give them a call and see if they can work out a deal for you!
