Zon soundclips request.

Hi everybody!

I'm looking for soundclips, recordings, live songs, songs that contain either a Zon bass solo/in a mix.

Especially a Sonus Special 4/5-string.

I've thoroughly searched TalkBass, didn't find anything here.
Also checked YouTube, but the videos there were of poor quality or Michael Manring with his crazy (in a good way) Hyperbass.

Sonus Custom 5, direct to hard disk from a cafe walter (just to make it stereo) through a standard soundblaster card. No effects or EQ.

Here are two soundclips from my old Zon Sonus 6 with Bart soapbars. The first one includes a bit of the B string. The tone of it was excellent- the issue was that to get that super-clean, punchy sound, you gave up the bit of leeway a warmer tone gives you- every slight vibration or finger fumble would really ring out

Awesome! Was it by any chance the one in the classifieds? Congratulations none the less.

As for requests, I'd really like to hear how the open B-string and notes on it up to E sound. It would also be interesting to hear how it sounds when played with a strong attack. All of the above with pickup pan centered!

I've got the bass but I'm waiting for the strings I want on it to arrive. I finally figured out that Zon necks change relief with string guage, so I ordered some DR hi beam lights to help drop it down.

Right now its got some labellas on it that I tuned down to low A ... sounds gnarly!
