I owned one of the standard series a while back when they first began shipping. Bought it from BassNW. I was very pleased with the tone. I recall it being very open and balanced. I wouldn't hesitate buying another one. The pre and pickups sounded great. Fretwork was excellent and I really liked the feel of the neck.
