I've had a lot of frustration very recently leaving a message and receiving a return email from Modulus. I also heard through the grapevine that they have halted production.

Lol. That figures. The only time in my life I special order one of their products and now there's been a production halt? What gives?

Modulus sucks

I must have gotten lucky then. I called Modulus about my used Q5 and I got someone the very first time. While he was not able to supply the parts I needed, he answered all my questions and gave me part numbers from Allparts and Hipshot. This was about a year ago.

I had a friend who worked for Modulus for a few weeks helping them with their graphite process, he said it was pretty much all dope smokers and everything was very unprofessional.

Dope smokers in NoCal?????? That's weird.

To be serious for a moment; it does seem contradictory when you say they were / are unprofessional because the instruments are great and very stable- but I totally believe you. Their "I don't give a $hit" attitude is just wrong in this day and age. I know they moved a few years ago into Richmond and had some employee changes, but so what - we all deal with stuff like that.

I feel for anyone who has a bass in production with them now...
