Zoom 3B vs ZOOM3Bn

The B3n is newer and has the extra buttons for moving through banks and patches. Most ZOOM pedals can mix and match algorithms if there is something missing on the one you choose.
Oh. I would have thought the b3 being newer because it has larger lcd screens.
Please elaborate! I would love to migrate sounds from the MS60B to the B3n but always thought that was not possible.

Not sure on the full compatibility but I added a bunch of the guitar specific effects (space hole, particle verb, OC2, etc.) to the B3n.
As I suspected your claim was rather too glib, there are different file types between the generations of effects that are not cross compatible. This has to do with the higher resolution or detailed rendering of the models and effects on the newer Zoom models.
