Zoom b3 combined with analog effects

Agreed... I will put in front of the b3 an lmb3, mxr octaver, mxr di+ for distortion and an envelope filter (not sure yet which on). So I will use the b3 as reverb, delay, preamp, tuner and DI. After the b3 i will put a "better than b3s looper, a digitech jamman solo xt.

It sound like you are slowly modding out your board with "better than B3" individual FX units. I'm laughing because I'm headding in the same direction.

The MXR envelope, fuzz, OD and Octaver are a lot nicer than the B3 patches....but considering each FX is roughly the same price as a B3 then there shouldn't be a suprise.

I have a MS-60b....it's OK, but I can hear a sonic difference and there's slightly less control to it than the B3. I'm also finding that with a daisy chained PSU, the B3 is effecting the MS-60b, although I have no issues with my MS 70 CDR.

My B3 has introduced me to a bigger world of FX chains...and it's given me a hunger for slightly better FX units.

My issue now is that my board needs are expanding, so I have to buy a bigger board, which also needs more serous power considerations.

WellI forgot to mention that I found where the hum became from. I found that when I put the switch next to the input in "active" possition there is a hum produced whenever I play a note . In passive my B3 is dead quiet!
