Zoom b3 compressors

I have been messing a bit for recordings* and both the B3 and MS60b have fairly decent comps and limiters that 'feel' a lot like their analog counterparts, I give them a B+. I like the MComp and the 160 best.

* Generally I steer clear of using compressors, but both the guitar player and drummer are dead set on having the bass compressed. Usually I fall back on my Durham Sex Drive for comp needs or the excellent comp in the Digitech BP8.

I had an MXR M87 and personally I like the comps on the B3 better - particularly the DBX and M Comp. The M works best when I have the SVT sim going - it seems to bring out the definition in the notes and make it pop like a Ampeg should. for most of the other settings I use the DBX model. For Muse's Starlight I use the Dual Comp.
