Zoom B3 Fp02 and Fs01 simultaneous?

Hi all,
I just gota B3, wow! kewl. still learning my way around it.
Im thinking of purchasing the exp pedal and foot switch but after a fair search I cant work out if these two can be plugged in and used at the same time?

I have conflicting memories of old pedals with an in and out where the foot switch plugged into the in and the out went to the "control in" on the effects unit.
A) I cant see(from pictures on the net) an in and out on the fp02 tho.
B) looking at the easy share software there seems to be icons for a foot switch and exp pedal for assigning at on the same patch.

I just cant see how it wires up?
No point buying both if I can only use one at a time.

hmm from what I can tell the answer is no. While I dont have the pedals to prove it I went about emulating it with swiches and plugs and pots.

FS01 looks like its simply a momentary switch from sleeve to tip. Note tho that as its a mono plug it shorts the sleeve to ring on the stereo B3 control input.
B3 FS set to bypass/mute. Pressing FS invokes the bypass, tuner mode comes up and then automatically goes to mute.

The FP02 lools to be a straight 50k pot across a stereo plug, with sleeve to pin 3, ring to pin2(adjust) and tip (3.2v) on pin1.

At first I thought maybe just grounding(shorting) sleeve to tip would evoke the FS function but no, the sleeve to ring must also be shorted.

I tried a trick, B3 FS set to bypass/mute and exp set to output volume. I wired up a pot as above emulating a FP02. It worked fine as a variable volume.
I then put a momentary Double pole switch that would short the sleeve(gnd) to tip and ring when pushed.
Sure enough the FS function worked.. I thought I was on a winner. Problem is that when you push it again (unbypass) it does not "always" return to the volume as set by the pot. Its as if it forgets its now in exp mode. A small movement of the pot tho and it recovers its volume. The other thing is it did not go to mute. it just goes to bypass as if its all a bit too confused :(
